Photography: the Winter Gardener

“I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape – the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn’t show.”

~Andrew Wyeth

I used to think that there wasn’t a whole lot to photograph during winter.  But, you just have to look more closely, and be creative.  The light during winter time is heavenly. It isn’t something you should waste.  And while there aren’t any flowers that bloom, or leaves that unfurl, that doesn’t mean winter isn’t a gardener.

  1. I can’t believe how beautiful your pictures are. You keep getting better and better. You need to get a portfolio together or something… and then be famous.

  2. “Hi! My name’s Erin! I am to cute and I take pictures of dead stuff and make it look amazing… la la laa!” “We got jealous” ~ Teen Girl Squad!

    • “Two’d noses?” “Triple-double-mocha-cheena-halfo-calf!”
I have story for you. Once there was a girl named Ashley, who had a nice camera, and could go and take pictures with her sister if she wanted to, but she never did. The end. Bwahahahaha!

      • Okayyyy Cody, just pile it on with the rest of them. Listen Bubb/strong bad, I work all day, I geeet home, eets dark, which means no light to take da peectures, except for orange light which I guess I could still use and make it look like Cody got a sweet tan, and Madi got even more tan.
